What you need to know
Bring your favorite clothes 'Back to Black' A Community Dye Bath is an affordable way to revive your faded clothes. For a limited time, we’ll have an all-black dye pot running—allowing us to dye multiple items at once. This saves time, energy, and water, which means professional results at a lower cost for you. A win-win for your wardrobe, the planet, and your wallet! Book and drop off your garments by Oct 20 in a labeled bag and we will email you when your garment is ready for pick up. Pick-up will be available Oct 27-29. What works best: - 100% Cottton, linen, hemp, rayon, or blends with at least 70% natural fibers - T-shirts, pants, hoodies - Clean, freshly washed garments only What does NOT work: - Polyester, nylon, spandex, acrylic, acetate - Leather, fur, mohair, delicate silks - Upholstery, rugs, shoes, items with padding or inserts - Garments with bleach stains (these will always remain visible) Prep before drop off: 1. Empty all pockets and remove belts, pins, jewellery and anything that can snag. 2. Wash all garments so there are no perfumes, fabric softener, or pet hair present. 3. Expect some shrinkage (up to 1" - 2") on cotton items. 4. Buttons, zippers, trim and and thread may not take dye. Review checkout disclaimer and after care instructions prior to booking.

Checkout Disclaimer By submitting items to our Community Dye Bath, you acknowledge and agree to the following: - The dye process uses heat and water. Your items may shrink, fade unevenly, or change texture. - We cannot guarantee uniform color results. Garments with mixed fibres, finishes, stains, or prior wear may produce unexpected effects. - Some trims, stitching, zippers, elastic, and buttons may not take dye or may be damaged. - We do not accept or take responsibility for items that are unsuitable (polyester, nylon, spandex, leather, fur, upholstery, padded items, shoes, etc.) - All garments must be freshly washed before submission. Unwashed items will not be accepted. - While we take every precaution, we are not responsible for lost or damaged items. Customers acknowledge these risks and accept results as final.
